I'd have never guessed you to even weigh 200 or even close. It doesn't show. (and no, I'm not hitting on you.)
If I went by my ideal weight with my height and bone structure,I'd look like a stick. Having said that,I sure could stand to lose 30-40 anyway.
if you were pure muscle at your BMI height/weight, you wouldn't look like a stick.. people just think they'd look like a stick, because you imagine a skinny version...
just think Spartan Soldier body.. that's what BMI really is..
and another random thought..
new tattoo's tomorrow!!!!
I have to take a dump.
Tomorrow I send a foster dog to her permanent home. She's been with us 6 months. This is going to suck.

That is taking for granted that everyone works out and builds the muscle to make that body. That kind of muscle bulk doesn't just come because you lose fat you have to make it, and most people don't want to do that they just want to shed the extra pounds. And getting to the ideal weight would make them look like a stick. You are using body building numbers for BMI, 2-4% body fat is not an ideal standard for the general population.
For adults, an ideal BMI is between 18.5 and 24.9. A person with a BMI over 24.9 is considered overweight, and a person with a BMI under 18.5 is considered underweight.
The BMI score is valid for both men and women but it does have some limits. When BMI is used to calculate body fatness:
It may overestimate body fat in athletes and others who have a muscular build
It may underestimate body fat in older persons and others who have lost muscle mass.
Therefore, it is possible for a person to be completely healthy but have an "unhealthy BMI." This is why healthcare providers consider other factors besides BMI when assessing the health risk for certain medical conditions.
Now for the random thought.

What do you drink around the house? Not alcohol, but like with meals? If you drink sugared soft drinks, drop those and you'll lose weight like crazy.

After 40 years, I started drinking diet mtn dew. Better taste than the other diets, or so I think. Lots of caffine, that is one drawback.
Well my weight is down from 220 to 212. So I am closer to my college doctor's instructions to lose 10 pounds by spring semester.
I'm a junior and college and have gained 40 lbs. since my freshman year. I gained the freshman 15 and then some.
I used to drink about 5-6 12 packs of Coke a week. I found out I was a type 1 diabetic in like 96 and had to quit drinking them. I started with Diet Coke and that's the worst tasting thing I've ever drank, then went to Diet Dr. Pepper (but never really liked Dr Pepper), then to Diet Mt. Dew which I'll still buy one every now and then, then finally to Diet Pepsi which tastes like Coke used to taste to me. Now I drink 5-6 12 packs of that a week. When I gave up Coke I lost almost 100 lbs. I went from about 235 to about 140 in a couple of months. I've gained that and more back since then though from eating everything else, plus insulin makes you gain weight.
I drink a ton of pop a week, probably my biggest vice. I actually think caffeine has been affecting me lately, so been trying to find a good non-caffeine option. The caffeine free Mountain Dew is pretty good to me, just seems like I can't find it.
And now after I said caffeine free, what the heck has happend to Vault, can't find packs of 20 oz bottles in a store at all lately. Find singles, find cans, find 2 litters, but not the bottles, which is what I would normally drink on the way to work.
I'll take 8 cans a night to work. If it weren't diet, I'd never survive.
If you like coke, then try the caffeine-free. My wife had to cut back on her caffeine, so we went with that as an option. Can't tell it from "the Real Thing".
I'm a not a big coke drinker (started to say user, but thought that would definitely mean something different *lol*)
I'm not sure the caffeine is my issue, but trying to cut back just a bit. When I actually used to sleep, I would go to bed with either a Mt Dew, Vault or Surge beside the bed drinking it as I fell asleep. Was pretty much immune to caffeine. Still think I am, but figure if I cut back, maybe my body will not so much stay awake but be more sleepy, kind of semantics there, but trying it out.
I just dont like the taste of diet drinks, I can live with the caffeine free varieties of most anything
If I want a "diet" soda I'll mix Diet Dr Pepper with a bit of regular Dr Pepper and call it Dr Pepper Lite
Diet orange sodas are fairly decent.
We've tried several varieties of the generic Crystal Light and some are really good: grape, apple, fruit punch, lemonade
If I drink a Diet Coke though or Diet Pepsi it makes me ill - bleh
I have drank diet drinks since I was probably 9 or 10. Regular Coke or Pepsi is too sugary for me.
Something alot of folks may not know is that any diet drink that has that contains that "phenoly..." (whatever the hell it is) is not good for ya. I was reading in a BFS mag that the body breaks that down into basically formaldyhide and water..that's why they won't quench your thirst.
Diet drinks are worse than regular soda's.
Only benefit they really have are for diabetics. My mom is a nurse, and can contest for this as well (also diabetic).
But there have been many, many, many studies done on diet vs regular. Diet soda drinkers.. don't lose as much weight as people on regular sodas. But if you're drinking purely for less sugar, etc.. diet is the way to go.. but if you're wanting to cut pounds, and still have soda's.. one/two a day is tops, and regular will help lose more.. caffeine in regular is the main thing..
But if you want to trick your body into thinking that you've eaten, and cut weight.. drink a 32 ounce gatorade.. it has enough carbs in it to convince your body you've eaten a good size meal..
but back to subject.. regular soda is better than diet soda.. for your body, etc.. unless you're diabetic..
my random thoughts today...
I really dislike my moms side of the family, although I do live with my grandmother.. but dang.. this side kills me..so, come stay here and do thanksgiving and raise a little hell? or go to my parents house and sleep.. where nobody will be? or go to Dennys?
or take a trip down to North Carolina and eat a china buffet with sun tzu? haha

Yep, when it interacts with carbs. You are basically preserving fat cells...There's a book called "Skinny B!tch" that goes into great detail about this.
I usually have about 3 diet drinks per WEEK at most, if I really get a craving.
As far as soda's I only drink 1 Coke Zero (12 oz. can) a day and will drink a regular Coke sometimes on weekends.
Stupid cokes. Everytime i try to quit cold turkey I get bad headaches until I drink one.
I'm addicted to the song by 3 Doors Down- Citizen Soldier
